The Young Evils

The Young Evils are Troy Nelson (guitar/vocals) and Mackenzie Mercer (vocals) with: Cody Hurd (guitar), Michael Lee (bass) and Faustine Hudson (drums). The Seattle-based band self-released their debut album, "Enchanted Chapel," produced by Barrett Jones (Nirvana, The Melvins, Pussy Galore) in August 2010. "A Just Built Beaming Light" was selected by KEXP 90.3 as Song of the Day on Aug. 20, 2010, and NPR selected "Get Over It" as Song of the Day Oct. 25, 2010.
The Horde and the Harem

The Horde and the Harem are a ragged band of untrustables hailing from the Pacific Northwest. They boast four voices that combine in harmony over a solid rhythm section. Surrounded on all sides by sizzling and sputtering guitars, and anchored into place by the weight and grace of the piano. The results are thick layers of melody that infiltrate your senses, lodging themselves in your brain and cursing you with their inherent catchiness.
In just over a year the band has amassed quite a following. They've headlined Seattle's Crocodile and Tractor Tavern; played Neumo's, the Capitol Hill Block Party, NW Folklife Festival, and SXSW.
At the moment the band is working on a full-length to be released early next year, and will be playing the prominent Bumbershoot Festival this September.
